Susan Cosgrove is an Associate Solicitor heading up the Commercial Property and Private Client Departments in Landwell Solicitors.
Susan joined Landwell in April 2007. She holds an Honours Degree in Law (LLB) and Diploma in Property Tax.
She has extensive experience in property transactions both residential and commercial such as:
- Advising construction companies and building contractors on aspects of construction law including the finance, purchase and subsequent sale of developments, drafting and negotiating development and joint venture agreements, planning and environmental matters, management company structuring, taxation (in conjunction with PricewaterhouseCoopers), compulsory purchase orders, rectification of title issues. Developments have included shopping centres, office blocks and office parks, industrial estates, residential developments, hotel and leisure developments.
- She is regularly involved in advising clients on a range of landlord and tenant matters including commercial leases, licences, letting agreements and easements.
- Advising on the finance, purchase and sale of both residential and commercial property including investment acquisitions and disposals, leases and tax based property transactions.
- Advising on and structuring co ownership agreements including those pertaining to property investments by syndicates of individuals both in Ireland and Overseas.
Susan also advises high net worth individuals and their families in relation to wills, trusts and estate planning and works closely with PricewaterhouseCoopers taxation services in this regard to provide clients with a unique and comprehensive service. Clients include developers, contractors, banks, property companies and private individuals.
